Anchor Merry Christmas, Happy New Year Ale, 2016 is the 42nd year Anchor Steam has brewed their holiday Ale. Every year the recipe changes as well as the tree on the label. While the recipe is a secret, this years tree is according to their website, “Our tree for 2016 is the “1,000 Mile Tree” or the lone pine found during westbound construction of the transcontinental railroad.
